Kaiwei is a Senior Psychotherapist / Counsellor trained with a Masters of Social Science in Professional Counselling, and a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) degree in Psychology. She provides in-depth counselling and psychotherapy support for children, adolescents, and young adults across a broad range of emotional and behavioural issues.

Kaiwei holds special interest and focus in trauma-focused and neurobiological approaches, as well as attachment work.

As an integrative therapist, she brings a blend of person-centered, psychodynamic, EMDR, and cognitive-behavioural modalities in her sessions. With experience in public and private settings in working with primary and secondary schools across Singapore, she enjoys supporting individuals across various walks of life, and continues to provide counselling services and art therapy workshops to schools.

 

A therapy journey can be deeply personal and growing. In her work, Kaiwei values warmth and empathy, the appreciation of everyone’s unique strengths and potentials, and the importance of creating a safe and self-actualizing space for all.

 

She is a Registered Counsellor and Clinical Member with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC). 

As a mother, Kaiwei believes in the value of working systemically. In her free time, she enjoys art and design, playing music, and pursuing fun and meaningful ideas of learning and growth.
